About me

Unapologetically me.
It's a mistery how I only found out I have ADHD in my 40s.
Looking back, my resume was kind of giving it away.

Born and raised in Italy, I earned my Master’s Degree in International and Diplomatic Studies — while also completing a Diploma in Voice Over and Dubbing. While I was performing in musical theatre and jazz gigs, I was teaching Italian Elocution and Communication.

Then I moved to Australia with my lovely husband (and dogs, because we don't do "easy"), and that’s when my work and life experiences exploded.
I worked all kinds of day jobs, published my first book Stella in Australia, taught performance skills, and kept performing: acting, singing, and even stand up comedy (but I'm not that funny, so thankfully I paused that).

While completing my Honours Degree in Entrepreneurship — and winning Female Entrepreneur of the Year at the UTS Startups Awards — I also became a mum. A special one.
My daughter's Kabuki syndrome is hard, on all of us.
But I don't know how to do "calm", so I took the special needs roller coaster as an opportunity, and started My Kabuki Girl - to raise awareness, break stigmas, and share my take on special-needs parenting.

Life itself happens to me all at once: while I was getting my ADHD diagnosis, I also went through a final, heartbreaking pregnancy loss that clearly told me: "That's it. You are done making babies."
My answer? “Sure.”
So, while writing my book So that's what it is, I created Mama Minie — a space to bring joy, music, and learning to many more kids.

I still perform on stage whenever I can, and I hope to show others how to reframe their mindset and keep going — on and off the stage — no matter what life throws their way.
